The Stewardship Committee’s biggest job is to run the Stewardship Campaign.
This year we:
1. Created, printed, assembled, stuffed envelopes, and mailed approximately 240 packages
consisting of an information brochure, pledge card, return mail envelope, and cover letter.
2. Had a “Drive Thru” pledge
drop off on Pledge Sunday.
Not a great success (13
pledges) but the best plan
we had with Covid
restrictions.
3. Pushed on-line pledging and
received 29 on-line pledges
during the campaign
4. Kept the “Giving Chart”
updated and in the E-Word
and Newsletters to let folks
know how we were doing.
5. In November, sent out e-
mails to all “as yet to
pledge” folks and some
more pledges came in.
6. Just after Thanksgiving, we
sent out e-mails to all “as
yet to pledge” prior pledgers
and more pledges came in.
7. The first week of January
calls were made to 17 “as
yet to pledge” prior pledgers
and more pledges came in.
On January 8, 2021 the pledge
campaign reached it pledge
target of matching last year’s
pledge total of $476,964. As of
the writing of this report toward a goal of 133 pledges we have received 125 of which 7 are new
pledges from folks who did not pledge last year.
The success of the pledge campaign is a testament to the faithfulness and generosity of the Pilgrim
Church congregation. Thank you.
