• May – BSA held a national “Virtual Campout” where scouting families camped on their own. Our Troop
scouts met on a zoom meeting from their own home campsites, had their own fires, and camped outside for
the night. For Memorial Day, in recognition of the pandemic, Troop 1 led the way in creating a Memorial
Day video presentation combining highlights from prior years with small vignettes of live ceremonies such
as Jack Worcester performing the flag ceremony and Mike Kickham speaking.
• June – Scouts participated in a social-distanced trail cleanup at Rocky Narrows. We held our first virtual
Court of Honor. Andrew Guillette passed his Eagle Board of Review and achieved the Rank of Eagle Scout.
