Estimated Budget/Resources: Parent Teacher Organizations (PTOs) may be willing to support some of the
funding needs. Additionally, some partners and organizations might prefer to donate their resources and time
to the schools. Costs could be associated with field trips or guest speakers.
Potential Implications (Short-Term and Long-Term): Students would gain an appreciation for and
understanding of the importance of science beyond the walls of the classroom. These experiences might
encourage them to pursue a career in the sciences and will minimally broaden their knowledge about the
application of learning in real world scenarios.
