        Grade 7: Additional Next Steps:

            1.  Continue to build upon the numerous strengths and address the areas of opportunities
               within the identified Standards through best practices and academic support class.
                   a.  Key Personnel: 7th grade math teachers for the school year 2019-2020.
                   b.  Timeline (Anticipated Start/Finish): 11/1/2019-ongoing
                   c.  Major Action Steps: (1) Continue to differentiate instruction based on STAR 360
                       data to improve students’ understanding of equivalent expressions and
                       probability; (2) Continue to work with grade level and department team to
                       implement best teaching practices; (3) Use data provided by the State as well as
                       local data to drive instruction.
            2.  Understand PA Core Reporting Categories, Assessment Anchors, Eligible Content, and
               Glossary of Terms, and ensure the eligible content is embedded in all grade 7 courses.

                   c.  Major Action Steps: (1) Review eligible content and written curriculum; (2) Make
                       adjustments to the curriculum as needed.

                   c.  Major Action Steps: (1) Review common assessment to ensure eligible content is
                       embedded in the assessments and the format of questions align with the sample
                       released questions from PSSA
            4.  Use assessment data to guide instructional decisions.

                   c.  Major Action Steps:  (1) Use Star 360, ALEKS, and common assessment results
                       to determine course-level, classroom, and individual student modifications and
                       adjustments; (2) use academic support time as another block of time to provide
                       individualized and small group enrichment and remediation.
            5.  Align and integrate PSSA eligible content with Algebra I curriculum
                   a.  Key Personnel: 7th-grade math teachers for the school year 2019-2020.

                   c.  Major Action Steps: (1) Integrate PSSA eligible content into Algebra I curriculum; (2)
                       format assessment questions throughout the year to align with sample released items.
