uprightness, moral goodness. We're talking
about the virtue, the ability, the integrity to
be able to stand alone. We must understand
that most of the time the crowd is wrong.
You can see that in the Scripture; you can
see that in history. The second thing we're
going to look at this morning is the cost of
standing alone, and, number three, we're
going to consider the reward of standing
alone.
Now, again, this is Paul's last letter facing
death, and I want to read in verse 18, but let
me first read from a handout that I have
copies of on the back table for you to take
after the service. I'm going to read just one
or two paragraphs from this article. It says:
