be offered, and the time of my departure is



             at hand.”  Paul knows what is ahead of him.



             In  verses  14  and  15  of  this  chapter,  the



             apostle Paul speaks of the opposition that



             he's  had  by  some,  and  then  in  verses  16



             through 18 — and this is going to be our



             text  for  our  message  this  morning  —  he



             speaks  of  his  upcoming  hearing,  and he's



             telling  Timothy  in his  last  letter  what  he's



             facing  and  what  Timothy,  as  a  preacher,



             must carry on and must continue to do in



             his ministry.




                    Now, I've got three points I want to give



             you this morning.  First of all, we're going to



             talk about the virtue of standing alone —



             and by "virtue," I mean integrity, holiness,
