Now, let me take you to Romans 6 and
just bring this home. Here is our
identification with Jesus Christ, and since
we're identified with Him, we are to
consider ourselves dead to sin and alive
unto God. See, there are two groups of
people: In Adam all die; in Christ shall all be
made alive. There are two expressions that
we find here in Romans, I think in Galatians,
in Peter and other places. There are the
expressions “dead in sins” and “dead to
sins” — as different as day and night. To be
“in Adam” is to be dead in sins; to be “in
