Daniel 8:14 is the verse that the entire cult is

built around. It says, “And he said unto me,

Unto two thousand and three hundred days;

then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.” Now, I

don’t have time to read the entire chapter this

evening, but if you’ll ask me, we’ll come back

and I’ll teach through this whole chapter any

time that you want. It’s not a complicated

chapter. But William Miller took this passage

and he said the 2300 days, 2,300 days, are really

not days but they’re years. And he began

counting from 457 B.C. when Israel went back

to rebuild the temple and rebuild the city, and he

counted 2300 years, not days as the Bible says,

and he said, “That brings you to 1844 when the

temple will be cleansed. Christ will come back

to this earth.” Well, it didn’t happen, and the
