that when you come to Daniel chapter 8, this

chapter is dealing with the Medo-Persian and the

Grecian kingdoms, and the little horn in verse 9

is not an antichrist. The little horn here in verse

9 is talking about a king that came out of the area

of Syria. Notice in verse 9: “And out of one of

them came forth a little horn, which waxed

exceeding great, toward the south, and toward

the east, and toward the pleasant land.” Now,

this is not the same as the little horn in Daniel 7,

by the way. And then we come down to verse

11: “Yea, he magnified himself even to the

prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice

was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary

was cast down. And an host was given him

against the daily sacrifice by reason of

transgression, and it cast down the truth to the

ground; and it practised, and prospered. Then
