and the soul; Amen? Verse 28 says, “And fear

not them which kill the body, but are not able to

kill the soul.” Well, can you kill the body and

not kill the soul? Yes. Verse 28 goes on to

say, “but rather fear him which is able to

destroy both soul and body in hell.”

Annihilation of the Wicked

Not only do they teach soul sleep for the

believers, but they teach the annihilation of the

wicked; in other words, they do away with the

doctrine of eternal judgment. And, again, Matthew

10:28 is telling us that there is a Hell. Mark 9,

verses 43 and 44, talks about hell fire that shall

never be quenched, and 2 Thessalonians 1:8

talks about the vengeance of God, the punishment

of everlasting destruction. Revelation 14:10, 11

and 12, one of their favorite passages is dealing

with destruction and torment and those kinds of
