by inspiration of God, and is profitable for

doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for

instruction in righteousness.” As far as our

doctrine, as far as everything that we believe

and practice, God has given it to us in Holy

Scripture. And then verse 17 says, “That the

man of God may be perfect” — that is, fitted,

prepared — “thoroughly furnished unto all

good works.” Everything that I need for faith

and practice is given to me in the Scriptures,

and when I go outside the boundaries of

Scripture, I am going to be violating God's

principles.

It is true that Jesus Christ had to be born

and He had to die. That's in Galatians 4,

verses 4 and 5. But the Apostle Paul said in
