do in remembrance of me.” This is something

that’s commanded, and it says in verses 25

and 26, “After the same manner also he

took the cup, when he had supped, saying,

This cup is the new testament in my blood:

this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in

remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat

this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the

Lord's death till he come.” This is something

that's given to us in the Scripture that is

commanded and that we are to observe.

Now, we're to remember the Lord's birth.

It's given to us in a number of places. But

nowhere in the Bible does the church have

the authority to set a holy day and say that

this is the birth of Jesus Christ when it is not
