salvation.

3. If there is no resurrection, then we

have no hope. Look in verses 18 and 19.

Verse 18 says, “Then they also which are

fallen asleep in Christ are perished”; in other

words, if there's no resurrection, our loved

ones that we’ve planted in the ground, that

we've carried to the cemetery will not be

raised from the dead; there would be no

salvation for them. He said they perish.

Verse 19, “If in this life only we have hope in

Christ, we are of all men most miserable.” In

other words, there would be no joy. If there

is no resurrection, those who are in the

grave have no hope; they perish, and if
