one coin.

So the controversy was raging back in

the late ‘50s, the ‘60s, and especially in 1969

when a book was written belittling repentance

and faith, belittling surrendering to the

Lordship of Jesus Christ, belittling submitting

to Christ as Lord. And then the controversy

kind of died down some for a while, and

then it resurrected again in the ‘80s, and I

hear people talk about it now on almost a

weekly basis. I'll get a call or somebody will

ask me, “What do you think about Lordship

salvation?” and I say, “I stay out of both

camps, but I do believe that salvation is

submitting to the Lordship of Christ by
