I'm reading in verses 8 and 9 in Romans

chapter 14, and it says, “For whether we live,

we live unto the Lord; and whether we die,

we die unto the Lord: whether we live

therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. For to

this end Christ both died, and rose, and

revived, that he might be Lord both of the

dead and living.” The Christian considers

Jesus as his or her Lord, whether in life or

death. The Lordship of Jesus Christ is the

very evidence of all believers, whether in life

or death, for we see His control and

ownership in our lives.
