P. 35

According to 1 John 5:14 & 15, “if we ask any

thing according to his will, he heareth us,

And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever

we ask, we know that we have the petitions

that we desired of him.” We may not see the

immediate answer to our prayer, but we can

be sure that God has answered or will

               answer in His perfect timing.

Prayer doesn’t necessarily have to be

audible or offered to God in any particular

position. In Psalm 4:4 David says to

“commune with your own heart upon your

bed, and be still.” Even when we’re too

grieved or emotional to audibly express to

God our burdens and cares or if we don’t

know just how to pray for a particular

situation, the Holy Spirit will make

intercession for us according to God’s will

               (Romans 8:26).
