Psalm 10 is another time in David’s life when


               David felt that God had “distanced” Himself


               from  him,  yet  David  had  just  previously


               acknowledged in Psalm 9 that the Lord has


               not forsaken them that seek Him and that


               God does not forget the cry of the humble.


               Most  Christians  can  relate  to  David’s

               fluctuating faith.






               Although David had to wait in the past to

               see  God’s  answer  to  his  prayers,  he  still


               seemed to expect an immediate and visible


               answer to prayer when he faced opposition


               and hard times.  Maybe part of the reason


               that  God  does  not  seem  to  intervene


               immediately  when  we  pray  is  because  we

               tend not to spend a lot of time communing


               with God when things are going well in our


               lives.  Another  reason  for  seemingly


               unanswered prayer is that the answer to our
