John just got through talking about the world,

and now in verse 18 he said, “Little children, it

is the last time” — Now, notice that. There’s

that phrase again, “latter days,” “last days,”

“last time.” He said, “it is the last time: and as

ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even

now are there many antichrists; whereby we

know that it is the last time.” Everybody is

looking for this one Antichrist. John said there

are many antichrists. What is antichrist? Those

who deny the truths of God. There were many

antichrists in the days of the apostle Paul and

Peter and Jesus, and there are many antichrists

in the time in which you and I live today.

Now, look at verse 19 carefully: “They went

out from us. . .” Notice that. That means they

were with them at one time. Judas was among
