what He accomplished; in other words, it tells

us His life, His ministry from His birth until now

sitting at the right hand of the Father.

Then he steps into chapter 4, and he says

this: “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that

in the latter times some shall depart from the

faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and

doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy;

having their conscience seared with a hot iron.”

Notice how the chapter begins. Paul says,

"Now the Spirit speaketh expressly." The Spirit

of God is speaking to the church through the

gift of prophecy that the apostle Paul has, and

he says, "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly,

that in" — Notice — "the latter times some

shall depart from the faith, giving heed to

seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.” Now,

again, I'm not going to jump into the context
