coloring books, there are clothes, there are

movies, there are games, there are toys, and

it's endless as to where you can find these

things. In just about every department store

you'll find something about superheroes. They

are America's icons. There is a fascination with

fantasy today that is just unbelievable even in

the so-called Christian community. There's an

obsession with this. People fantasize about

these amazing powers that these superheroes

supposedly have.

Now, let me give you a few thoughts on the

money that's made from superheroes. Millions

of dollars are made from the movies, from the

comics, from the clothes, from the toys —

millions, if not billions of dollars. A Spider-Man

movie that came out in 2002 brought in a

record $403 million, of which $100 million was
