collection of vintage comic books sold at an

auction for over $1 million. Action figures go

for hundreds of thousands of dollars. Many

spend thousands to build their collection.

Now, I want you to listen to this. Someone

who has been heavily involved in the video

games and somewhat with the superheroes

told me this yesterday, and I checked it out this

morning to confirm it, and it is true, and I'm

quoting now. This is from an article: “Action

Comics Magazine #1, Superman’s debut, sells

for $2.16 million.” This is just recently. The

issue was published in 1938, and the original

issue cost only 10 cents. So the original issue

was 10 cents, and it was either early this year

or last year that this magazine of Superman

sold for over $2 million, if you can believe that.
