occult. And even though we say, "Oh, I've not

been affected by it," but we have been affected

by it. The Bible tells us very clearly in 1 Samuel

chapter 15, verse 23, “For rebellion is as the sin

of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity

and idolatry.” Talking to Saul, Samuel

says, “Because thou hast rejected the word of

the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being

king.”

So when we are rebelling against God,

that's witchcraft. Witchcraft has to do with

manipulation, and stubbornness is as idolatry

and iniquity. So when we go to the Bible and

we don't take it literally and we go to it seeing

how we can twist it and turn it and make things

work out for ourselves, to accommodate ourselves,

that's witchcraft. We've been taught by the

movie and music industries to lie and to

manipulate, and when we come to the Lord's
