with dances. And Miriam answered them,
Sing ye to the LORD, for he hath triumphed
gloriously; the horse and his rider hath he
thrown into the sea.” That's the destruction of
Pharaoh and the Egyptian army that followed
and pursued after the children of Israel to
destroy them.
And all in between we see statements like in
verse 18: "The LORD shall reign for ever and
ever." We see statements like in verses 6 and
7: “Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious
in power: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed

in pieces the enemy. And in the greatness of
thine excellency thou hast overthrown them
that rose up against thee: thou sentest forth
thy wrath, which consumed them as stubble.”
We see these kinds of statements throughout
this chapter. It's a song. It's the first song that
