ENTERTAINMENT

I’m going to preach a message tonight on the

subject of entertainment and actually start a

series of messages that will last anywhere from

five to eight weeks. As we consider the subject

of entertainment or worldly amusements, we’re

going to address basically three areas, and I will

give a definition to each one of those areas as we

get to them. The first one is the theater, the

second one is sports, and the other one is

banqueting. All of these forms of entertainment

were prevalent in the first century during the

days of the Lord Jesus Christ and also during the

time of the apostles and the early church. I have

three messages in 2006 that you can go back and

listen to. Now, this is a totally different

message, but they’ll be related, and that is on
