sports, the television, and worldliness, and I
believe all three of those were preached in
2006. Wednesday night here in the church I
spoke to you briefly on the subject of
revival. There will be no revival in our lives, in
our church until we deal with sin.
Jesus said in Luke 16:15, “Ye are they which
justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth
your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed
among men is abomination in the sight of
God.” The latter part of that verse says, “for
that which is highly esteemed among men is
abomination in the sight of God.” I believe that
this a good rule to measure things by. In other
words, that which is highly esteemed among
men is an abomination in the sight of God. If
the world loves it, you better check it out; there’s
probably something wrong with it. If the world
hates it, you probably ought to check it out
