DAYS OF SAFETY
EC&M made an ongoing commitment to honor top-end young talent in the electrical industry
by developing the "Under 30 EC&M All Stars" special report, which profiles up-and-coming
young (under age 30) electrical professionals who have demonstrated extraordinary results
on the job. Selected from nominations submitted by electrical contracting companies across
the country, participation in this initiative has been overwhelmingly positive.
MONIQUE MEURET | 24
Computer Modeler (Arizona)
Monique Meuret aspired to study architecture, but while working as a
receptionist at Rosendin, her career took a different direction. After learning
more about the electrical industry, she switched her career path to work
in computer modeling. Shortly after she took an AutoCAD class, she was
brought into the BIM department for on-the-job training. Through her
training, she learned the technicalities regarding what can be modeled and
then constructed in the field. For Monique Meuret, some of her favorite and
most challenging roles at Rosendin involve problem solving, and she enjoys
figuring out solutions to issues.
Today, she assists her lead modeler with gathering details from the field
and then modeling the requested content on projects such as medical and industrial manufacturing facilities. She also works in a
software program to help prevent any clashes with other trades.
