Method
Form a loop near the end of
the rope (1) and then make a
turn by moving the top edge
of the loop from right to left
(2). The end which is now
under the standing part
passes over it and is inserted
through the turn (3. 4).
Continuing in the same
direction, pass the end under
the eye of the loop and insert
it once again into the turn (5.
6). Tighten the turn by pulling
the end and the left side of the
loop; then check that the
standing part slides easily
through the eye (7).
