WELCOME TO THE VISA INFINITE DINING SERIES, SUMMER 2022
This Summer we’re sharing the most deliciously sun-ripened flavours of the season with an irresistible collection of special chef-curated dining experiences, and we also travel to Wine Country for a taste of life amid the vines.
In Niagara, Restaurant Pearl Morissette Co-Chefs Daniel Hadida and Eric Robertson bring the refined skills they developed at some of Europe’s best restaurants to an exclusive micro-seasonal farm- to-table experience. And Stratus Winery hosts a powerhouse collaboration with Calgary’s Darren MacLean, runner-up in the Netflix series The Final Table, and Rafa Covarrubias, winner of the North American San Pellegrino Young Chef Competition 2019. In Prince Edward County, Chefs Suzanne Barr and Charlotte Langley lead an all-star Wine Country Long Table Dinner at Closson Chase.
Meanwhile, in B.C.’s Okanagan Valley, Mission Hill Family Estate Executive Chef Patrick Gayler welcomes one of the winery’s former chefs, Matthew Batey, currently Corporate Executive Chef of Calgary’s Teatro Group, while the Restaurant at Poplar Grove hosts visiting Chef JC Poirier of Vancouver’s award-winning St. Lawrence. At Phantom Creek Estates on the Black Sage Bench, Chef Alessa Valdez welcomes Canadian Culinary Champion Roger Ma of Vancouver’s Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar for a glorious feast overlooking the historic, award-winning vineyards.
For those staying in the city, the garden at Calgary’s Rouge Restaurant is the setting for a midsummer’s night dream dinner, while in Montreal, the groovy and exuberant Ibérica offers a special prix fixe menu of Barcelona-inspired dishes. And at Babel in Toronto, expect a soulful celebration of the Mediterranean’s finest flavours.
Summer is the season to relax, unwind, indulge in a glass of wine and enjoy the bounty of this special time of year, surrounded by good company and beautiful scenery.
