YUNUS SAFARİSİ
Zanzibar’da insan sıkılacak bir dakikalık vakit bulamıyor. Çünkü her an dopdolu geçiyor. Yapılacak öyle çok aktivite var ki... Bu aktivitelerden biri de yunus safarisi. Sabahın ilk saatlerinde çıkılan bu safaride yüzlerce yunus görülüyor. Ve gelen turistler eğer isterlerse yunuslarla yüzme şan- sına da sahip oluyorlar. İnanılmaz görüntüler sunan bu safaride yunuslarla burun buruna gelmek inanılmaz duy- gular yasatıyor. Özgür ortamlarında istedikleri gibi yüzen yunuslar turistlere mükemmel dakikalar sunuyor.
STONE TOWN
Zanzibar’ın kalbi, en önemli gezilecek yeri Stone Town. Yanı eski şehri. Stone Town, tarihin ilk dönemlerine giden bir tarihe sahip ama bu şekildeki görünümüne Umman Sultanlığı zamanında gelmiş. Bir çok mimari, Ummanlılar tarafından yapılmış. Evlere baktığımız zaman; ihtişam- lı Arap kapıları, Arap mimarisi şehre bambaşka bir hava katmış.Aslında adada sadece Afrika değil Arap ve Hint et- kileri de kendini gösteriyor. Mimarisi Arap ve Hint kültü- ründen etkilenirken trafikte ise İngilizlerin etkisini görü- yoruz. Trafik bize göre ters taraftan akarken direksiyonda sağ tarafta. Sokaklar, eski şehir ve yaşam şekli ise Arapla- rın izlerini taşıyor. Kapılar var öyle ihtişamlı yapılmış ki.. O dönemin zenginliği, ihtişamı hemen anlaşılıyor. Bir kapı ne kadar çok dekora, işlemeye, motife sahipse o evin sahibi- nin o kadar zengin olduğu anlaşılırmış. Bu kapıların bugün hâlâ bir kısmı ayakta ama baharat ticareti döneminde bu- raya gelen Hintliler olduğundan dolayı Hintlilerde kalmış ve kendi kültürlerini bu topraklara bırakmışlar. Kültürlerin harman olduğu, bütünleştiği ve muhakkak görülmesi ge- reken bir ada Zanzibar.
DOLPHIN SAFARI
In Zanzibar, people cannot find a moment to get bored. Because they live it to the fullest. There are so many ac- tivities to do... One of these activities is the dolphin sa- fari. Hundreds of dolphins are seen in this safari, which takes place in the early hours of the morning. And the tourists also have the chance to swim with dolphins if they want to. Offering amazing scenes, this safari, during which you touch the dolphins, evokes incredible emo- tions. The dolphins swim in their natural environment as they wish and tourists have quality time.
STONE TOWN
Stone Town is the heart of Zanzibar and is the most im- portant place to visit. It is the old city. Stone Town dates back to the early stages of history, but its current status was established during the Sultanate of Oman’s reign. A lot of architecture was constructed by the Omanis. When we look at the houses, we see that the magnificent Arab gates and Arab architectures bring a completely different atmo- sphere to the city. In fact, you can feel the influence of not only African countires but also those of Arab and Indian. While the architecture is influenced by Arab and Indian cul- ture,weseetheinfluenceoftheBritishintraffic.Trafficison the right hand side of the steering wheel, contrary to ours. But the streets, the old city and the way of life carry the traces of the Arabs. The doors have been built so splendidly that the wealth of that period is immediately understood. The more the door has decorations on itself, the more it is understood that the owner of the house is so rich. Some of these gates are still standing today, but because of the Indians who came here during the spice trade period, you can feel the Indian culture in this island. Zanzibar is an island where cultures are blended and must be seen.
