Mahe ve Victoria
Hint Okyanusu’nda 115 tane granit ve mercan adasın- dan oluşan Seyşeller’in en büyük adası Mahe Adası, ha- yatın en renkli, en canlı olduğu ada. Başkent Victoria da adaların en kalabalık şehri. Mahe Adası’nda dahi ayak ba- sılmamış denize girilebilecek, ender bulunan ora ve fa- una, beyaz kumsallar, kristal berrak pırıl pırıl sular, antik çağlara uzanan bir tarih bulunuyor. Adadaki konaklama çeşitliliği sayesinde de Mahe Adası oldukça dikkat çekici bir ada. Seyşeller sahip olduğu nefis adaları, adacıkları sayesinde dünyanın tropik turizm cennetlerinden bir ta- nesi kabul ediliyor.
Durum böyle olunca, cennete benzetilen bu yere dün- ya zenginleri akmış. Özellikle de lüks villaların olduğu Eden Adası, denizin kenarındaki lüks yaşam alanlarıyla baş döndürüyor. Araçla girilemeyen, sadece yatlarla gi- rilebilen bölge, dünyanın en zengin iş adamlarının adresi.
Başkent Victoria ise, adını İngiliz Kraliçe Victoria’dan alıyor. Fransızlardan sonra adalara sahip olan İngilizler sayesinde adalılar Fransızca’dan sonra İngilizce’yi de ana dilleri gibi konuşuyor. Ama, ana dilleri aslında Creole de- nilen bir dil. Melez anlamına gelen Creole, aynı zamanda dillerinin ve ırklarının da adı. Sıcakkanlı, yardımsever, gü- ler yüzlü insanlar.

Thanks to its beautiful islands, islets, which the Seychelles have, it is recognized as one of the world’s tropical tourism paradises.
In the circumstances the wealth of the world has poured in this place, which is likened to a paradise. Es- pecially Eden Island with the luxurious villas is dazzling with its luxury living areas by the sea. The region, which cannot be entered by car but can only be entered by yachts, is the address of the richest businessmen of the world.
The capital, Victoria, gets its name of British Queen Victoria. By means of the British having the island after the French the islanders speak English like their moth- er tongue after French. But their mother tongue is ac- tually a language called Creole. Creole, which means a crossbreed, is also the name of their tongues and races. Friendly, helpful, good-humored people.
