Waxholm Adaları
Stockholm’un gezilip görülecek yerleri çok fazla ama çevresinde de gezilecek çok yer var. Muhakkak görülme- si gereken yerlerden biri Stockholm Limanı’ndan kalkan gemilerle ulaşılabilen Waxholm Adaları. İsveç, binlerce adadan meydana gelen bir ülke. Bu adaların bir kısmında yaşam varken bazıları da hâlâ bomboş. Dolu olan adalar, tam bir tabiat harikası. Bu mükemmel adalar arasında Waxholm Adaları var. Bu adalara ulaşım oldukça basit. Stockholm’den bu adalara belli saatlerde kalkan feribotla 45 dakikada gidiliyor. Bu adalar özellikle de ahşap evleriy- le çok meşhur. 16. Yüzyıldan kalma ahşap evleri adanın havasını tamamen değiştiriyor. Rengârenk, lüks, büyük, yemyeşil bahçeli ahşap villalar, gören herkesi kendine hayran bırakıyor. Dar sokaklara sahip olan bu güzel adalar gurubu hem yerlilerin hem de turistlerin dinlenebileceği mükemmel bir adres.
Adada konaklama
Ada, ahşap evleriyle meşhur olunca oteller de oldukça orijinal ve tarihi oluyor. Biz de deniz kenarında, şatoyu andıran mükemmel bir otelde kaldık. Manzaramız hari- ka olduğu gibi yemekler ve ortam da şahaneydi. Burada, adadaki geleneksel havanın hissedileceği çok güzel otel- ler, pansiyonlar var.
Waxholm Islands
There are many places to see in Stockholm but there are many places to visit in the surrounding area, as well. One of the best places to visit is the Waxholm Islands, acces- sible by ships departing from Stockholm Harbor. Sweden is a country made up of thousands of islands. There are people living on some of these islands, while there are in- habited ones. The habited islands are usually wonderful in terms of nature. Among these excellent islands, we should mention the Waxholm Islands. Access to these islands is quite simple. There are scheduled ferried from Stockolm, it takes 45 minutes to get there. These islands are par- ticularly famous for their wooden houses. The wooden houses, from the 16th century, completely change the at- mosphere of the island. Colorful, luxurious, large, wooden villas with lush gardens impress everyone who sees them. This group of beautiful islands with narrow streets is a per- fect address for both locals and tourists to relax.
Accommodation on the island
When the island is famous for its wooden houses, the hotels are very original and historical here as well. We stayed at an excellent hotel that looks like a castle, by the sea. Our view was wonderful and the food and atmosphere were fantastic as well. There are many beautiful hotels and hostels where you can get the traditional feeling on the island.
