Pastor John Hagee visits UK Partners
In November, we were honoured to host an exclusive dinner in London for key donors and longtime members of Christians United for Israel UK.
Pastor John Hagee and Diana Hagee along with others from the USA team came to meet with our supporters and bless them for their ongoing support. The trip was scheduled
to coincide with a trip to Israel, but this was unfortunately cancelled following the outbreak of war. Pastor Hagee was insistent that he still came to meet with UK partners, and we were honoured to have him here.
Pastor Hagee gave a powerful talk in which he covered everything from why Christians should stand with Israel to his insights into current day events. He gave his views from a Biblical perspective, and we were truly blessed by what he shared with us.
Kasim Hafeez, CUFI’s Middle East expert and the host of “CUFI Weekly” on YouTube, which is available on CUFI’s USA YouTube channel, was also at the event. Kasim is originally from the UK and spoke about his journey from radical Islam and hating Israel to now being a Christian and a staunch advocate for Israel.
CUFI’s UK executive director Des Starritt also spoke at the event highlighting CUFI’s impact in the UK and how we are working to combat antisemitism. He also thanked supporters for all they have done in making CUFI the success it is here in the UK. Additionally, Sandy Hagee-Parker, the director
of CUFI Action Fund, which is CUFI’s political advocacy in
Washington DC, gave her inspired insights into pro-Israel advocacy and the important role each of us have in defending Israel.
We were truly blessed not only by the talks but because
we were able to meet and connect with so many of our supporters who have sustained CUFI here in the UK over many years. There are so many more of you who could not attend, but we thank each one of you who sacrificially give to help CUFI achieve its aims. We hope to host more of these events and to branch out around the country in the future.
