Still no Pies!
A chilly, sunny morning and I don’t know how to use my heated grips! Thank goodness there is a (mining)
engineer in the family….who’d have thought it was so easy.
Being the only (bossy) female I called everyone to order. Peter offered Bakers Hill via Wundowie, Chris
offered Avocados and I offered Toodyay Bakery, via Chittering Valley. With all 3 offerings having roughly the
same show of hands, it was a vocal latecomer that sealed the deal for Toodyay.
Once I realised there were now 20 of us I suggested that we may need to split between the Bakery and Cola
Cafe.
I think most know the route to Toodyay so I won’t bore you with that. We did use Coondle West Road as a
slight deviation (a favourite of mine since Ross introduced it to me).
I was pleasantly surprised that everyone followed me to Cola Cafe. So not a pie in sight!
We welcomed 2 new riders today, Grayden (Honda Valkyrie) and Ian (BMW R1250) as well as some regulars
returning from travelling or illness.
Thanks to Norm for TEC duties.
