WEDNESDAY RIDE – 13th April 2022

A day with lovely Autumn weather made for riding.
We all arrived at the new start point at Dome, Banksia Grove and Dave Moore have a quick talk confirming
that he was stepping down as ride co-ordinater and our thanks to him for the great job he has done for the
        past several years.

I put forward a couple of rides that I had done previously and with no other suggestions it was decided on the
one with Bindoon Bakehaus as the destination.

We set off up the remainder of Joondalup Drive, up the old Yanchep Rd, Indian Ocean Rd, Military Rd into
Gin Gin Brook Rd to Brand Highway, Dewars Rd into Gin Gin and then onto Mooliabeenie Rd, I turned off at
Glover Wells Rd and stopped for a catch up, several riders had turned off at Crest Hill Rd and gone direct to
Bindoon leaving about eleven of us to head up the Moira-Bindoon Rd and into the lovely Hay Flats Rd for a
bit of a fang and then back to Bindoon along Gt Northern Hwy where we shared the usual yarns over a coffee
and pies or in my case a indigestible sausage roll ( should have learnt by now that only home made ones are
        good ).

Dave (Pom) who had left at Crest Hill Rd for his usual bargain hunt joined us but the others must have had
a quick coffee and headed home. I forgot to count the numbers again but I think about 15 starters and eleven
finishers, thanks once again to BP for being Tail End Charlie.

        WEDNESDAY RIDE – 20 April 2022
        Not the plan Jan!
On an awesome autumn day it was agreed to go to Bakers Hill via Parkerville, Stoneville, Chidlow, Wooroloo
and Wundowie. I had programmed the BMW Nav app to achieve this, hm.

Off we went on the normal route down Neeves, Haddrill onto Toodyay Road. Yep that all went to plan, Nav
system doing what it should do. Approach Roland road Nav system quiet, very quiet. I made the turn then
the Nav system woke up and stated Turn right onto Roland. Thereafter it went pear shaped. Ended up on the
Great Eastern Highway at Mundaring! How, who knows!

Wind started to pick up and the temperature dropped decidedly, not too bad but definite nip in the air.
Lots of road work and police speed traps, no issue riding to the rules.
Coffee and pies were enjoyed by all though prices are certainly moving up.

Return home I followed Dave who went home the way that I had planned to take as the original plan so by
        definition I went forward backwards!!

        Thanks to Norm for TEC.
Until the next ride stay safe,
