Sun 7 Nov Short Sunday Ride – Portarlington, 90km, led by Gentle , 9 riders, 4 partners met us there.
Nice meal on the harbour.

Wed 10 Nov Midweek Ride – Mortlake, 420km, led by Gentle, Combined ride with Grampians Branch. Met
at Skipton, 9 of us and about the same from the Grampians. Good ride to Mortlake. Very scenic ride home.
Good bakery lunch. Big day out!

Sun 21 Nov Sunday Ride – Beaufort, 320km, to be led by Mark Nicoll. First stop –Buninyong.

Sun 5 Dec Sunday Short Ride – Winchelsea, 90km, to be led by Mark Nicoll - Barwon Hotel pub meal.

Wed 8 Dec Midweek Ride – Corio, 135km, to be led by Gentle - Shell Club for lunch.

Bingo Run on 19 December 2021. P. Barclay is arranging.

20 February 2022 is Ironman event; our major fundraiser. We will need 23/24 motos able to take pillions, so
please see Ron Howell and let him know you can participate.

General Business:
Clubperson of the Year nominations are open and for those needing a paper form please see the Secretary.
All nominations to the Secretary via email by 19 January 2022.
AGM is on 16 February 2022 and all committee positions will be declared vacant. Several of the current
committee will not be re-nominating, so please consider putting your name forward for a position, which
are President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Social and Ride Coordinator.
New Award is being instituted being the WASP Award (Weak as P…) example being Gentle driving to tyre
kick in his car; get the drift.
Black Duck award is still around and current holder is Gentle; dropped his bike as a TEC.
Empty Tank award is also still going; Lindsay E is current holder.
Happy 78th Birthday to Karl H. for earlier this month.
Next meeting will have speaker Imran who deals in motorcycle gear from Geelong; has a nice range, well
priced and good quality.
Poker Run is on 19 December 2021 and is being organised by Peter Barclay.
Rider Profiles are needed by our Editor for Exhaust Notes. The format has been sent out by the editor so
please fill in and send back to Stan ASAP; editor@ulyssesgeelong.org.

Club Person of the Year

Dear Branch Members,
It is again that time of year to consider our Club Person of the Year Award,
which is open to all members to be considered.
Can you please give some thought to your selection for this branch award and
advise me via email of your selection for Clubperson of the Year Award, by the
third Wednesday in January 2022, being the 19th of January 2022.
The award will be presented to the successful member at our AGM in February
2022.
For those that wish to register a paper vote I will have voting slips at our November Social
meeting.
