14 August 2022 Lochinvar Branch Ride
th
Our second Sunday ride in August
was to Lochinvar with morning tea at
Morpeth.
We departed McDonalds Hexham at
9.00am with nine bikes, one scooter
and eleven riders. We rode up the
Pacific Highway and onto the New
England Highway. We then took the
Taro turnoff and riding out through
Millers Forest to Morpeth. Pete and
Deb and Ken Taylor joined us for
morning tea at the Servants Quarters
Tearooms. This location has been one
of our favourite places for a coffee
morning but we haven’t been there for
a while.
After morning tea, we rode out
to Bolwarra Heights and took
the Maitland Vale Road to
Singleton.
From Singleton we rode down
the Putty Road to the Golden
Highway. We rode along the
Golden Highway to
Whittingham and then down
the New England to Branxton,
Greta and onto Lochinvar.
Lunch was at the Lochinvar
Hotel. Where we were joined
for lunch by Mike and Colleen
and Glenda.
On any of our rides, if you
don’t want to ride, please
consider joining us for lunch.
Lochinvar Hotel is a great
location to have lunch and the
food is worth the drive.
After lunch we made our own way home. Mark
