                                           Evan Field  #14525
                                           Evan lost his battle with cancer on 20th August.
                                           He and his wife, Sue, moved to Bendigo early in 2004.  He was awarded the
                                           Telemachus award in 2019 mainly as recognition of his 14 years as Central Vic branch
                                           WUHDVXUHU  KH ZDV DQ DFFRXQWDQW   DQG IRU KLV PDQ\ RWKHU FRQWULEXWLRQV WR RXU EUDQFK
                                           Evan was strongly involved in our Golden Dragon rallies and was a regular on branch
                                           rides, often leading them on his BMW.  He had many other interests such as cross-
                                           FRXQWU\ VNLLQJ  KLNLQJ  PRXQWDLQHHULQJ  IRXU ZKHHO GULYLQJ DQG ¿VKLQJ  QRW WR PHQWLRQ
                                           his involvements in his church and Probus.
                                           He was 87yo and when he came to the branch recently to say, ‘Goodbye’ he said he
                                           ‘had had a fair innings’.
                                           Evan was well known by many in the Ulysses Club beyond our branch and many of us
                                           will keenly feel his loss, as well as being missed by his wife, children and stepchildren.

        Bob died on 2nd June after a sudden and short illness.
