             the merchandise to another merchant or to his own relative, and

             would  only  serve  to  provoke  the  buyer  to  hate  the  seller.    The
             speaker conveying this report is an absolute gossipmonger since he
             transmits gossip from one person to another.

             Quite often it happens that the speaker made his remarks out of a
             sense of malice towards the seller and later it becomes apparent the                       לואשד  ארקב  בותכש  גאודד  השעממ  .וילע  דמעו  )י(
             merchandise was bought at a fair price.  Frequently the speaker’s                          'וגו ילע םתרשק םכלוכ בותכש ומכ ,הזב דואמ םריצפה
             gossip results in a loss to this buyer as he pressures the buyer to return                 הלודג הארי םהל היהד ףאו .'וגו ישי ןב םע ינב תרכב
             the merchandise, telling this buyer- “Take those goods back and tear
             it into pieces  in front of the seller and if you are embarrassed to do                    .הז רובע לכורל םוקמ לכב גאוד בשחנ כ"פעא ,ונממ

             it yourself, send them back with someone else and if the seller will                       לוכאל ונתיסי דחא םא וטאד ,טושפ רבדה יכה ואלבו
             not take them back do not pay him or do not pay him the balance
      Mekor Hachayim  return these goods to the seller and the seller refuses to accept them            ר"השל תוכלהב ה"זעב ליעל יתראיב רבכ .וליפאו )אי(
                                                                                                        יוליגהב היהי םאו .הז רובע לוכאל רתומ אהי ריזח רשב
             you owe him for some other purchase.” (Often this is illegal or is

             literally stealing or extortion).  And when this buyer attempts to
             and he tells this buyer that he is trying to cause him a loss and he
             is doing something the Torah considers to be illegal, they come to
                                                                                                          .ש"ע הזל תושרופמ תויארב ח"מבב ח"קסב 'א ללכ
             argue and fight with each other.
             See how much “bad” this gossipmonger caused.  He violated the
                                                                                                                                     .בא ה"כ ,ןסינ ה"כ ,ולסכ ה"כ - הטושפ הנש :ימוי חול
             Lav of  “Do not peddle gossip in society” (if he is not careful to
             observe  the  rules  and  conditions  we  wrote  above)  and  the  Lav
             of “Do not put a stumbling block in the path of a blind person,”                        .בא ב"כ ,ןסינ ב"י ,תבט 'ב - תרבועמ הנש  םייחה רוקמ
             since he advised the buyer to illegally return the merchandise or
