Thank You Mother, For Not Aborting Me
PREFACE

Thank you, Mother.

Thank you for always taking me to church. I
get excited when we are getting ready to take
a ride. I love to listen to K-Love’s encouraging,
positive music, and the Erica Campbell show.

Thank you for taking care of me when I have
a tummy ache and am not feeling my best. I’m
going to make you proud someday, mother;
you’ll see.

Maybe I’ll be a football, basketball, or base-

ball player. Perhaps I will run track, be a profes-
sional fisherman, a firefighter, or a police officer.
Maybe I’ll become a news reporter, a singer, an
author, or most importantly, a pastor.

No matter what God allows me to become,
I will make you proud and bring glory and hon-
or to his name. You are special to me, and I just

wanted to say, thank you for not aborting me.
