and not to mention your annoying mother! Now you’re
telling me that you’re leaving me?” Peter yelled as he
walked away quickly.
Steven became nervous because he had never
seen Peter this angry before. “Calm down, Peter.”
“Oh, I’m calm,” Peter said as he re-entered the
room with a 3.57 firearm in his left hand. “You will not
leave this house alive. If I can’t have you, no one else
will. When I’m finished with you, I’ll take care of myself as
well. Don’t worry; we’ll still be together,” Peter said as he
placed the revolver to Steven’s head.
Steven began to plead with Peter as tears streamed
down his face. “Okay, okay, we don’t have to do this.
Peter, I have the right to feel the way I feel.”
Peter quickly responded, ”And I have the right to
take away those feelings,” as he pulled back the ham-
mer of the 3.57 firearm. Remember, the promise? Till
death do us part?
Steven kept his eyes steady, resting on Peter’s face.
His face grew pale as he screamed, ”Nooooooo.”
The air turned still and brittle. The doorbell rang.
