             I am pleased to welcome you to the 2015 Minority Enterprise Development Week celebration. It
        is encouraging to see the positive impact of both First Coast Business Alliance (FCBA) and the
        Youth Entrepreneur Summit (YES) on greater Jacksonville. To those in attendance, as well as those
        devoted individuals who have worked to make this year’s celebration possible, thank you for
        saying ‘yes!’ to the future.

             Ensuring that local students are prepared for the next step is essential to Jacksonville’s success
        as a city. I understand the 2015 theme is Emerging Markets and Industries: Blueprint for Success.
        As you work to develop business models and explore best practices, I challenge you to make the
        most of this opportunity. Starting now, you begin making this one city, one Jacksonville.
