And so the story of enlightenment unfolds....Rick happened to occupy the serviced office next to ours. Rick could have chosen to shut his door, plug in his earphones and merrily drown out the constant laughing and fooling around that emanated daily from our office.
He could have muttered expletives to himself whilst ignoring us in the shared coffee room like some of our other neighbours, but no...
Rick wanted to get to know these noisy new inhabitants. He was happy to offer any help we might want, and incidentally we took an interest in the affairs of this interested chap – his interest in us curiously made him seem interesting to us. (Hint)
We already had a Financial Planner affiliate who’d suggested he might perhaps refer a few clients but with the best of intentions and beyond a few shared Facebook Memes little had eventuated to date.
Fast-forward 12 months. We had actively and consistently endorsed Rick to ALL our clients and prospects. It was as if Rick was a shareholder in our business.
Where did this all lead you may ask?
