WALK FOR ALZHEIMER’S
The Tweed & Area IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s event was presented by the Kiwanis Club of Tweed on
Saturday May 28, 2022 at the Fairgrounds. Over $14,000 had been raised by noon, with more to follow from a Facebook
auction that is open until 9 p.m. Monday May 30; further donations are being accepted for the Walk until end of June. All the
funds stay local with the Alzheimer Society of Hastings-Prince Edward . We’d like to thank those who walked as individuals
or teams; the many donors of cash and prizes; event sponsors; and volunteers...Well done, everyone!

the Municipality of Centre Hastings. Doug has been an active member of the Land of

CHANCES FITNESS CENTRE, MADOC
It is with heavy hearts we are announcing the closure of Chances Fitness Centre effective August 1st, 2022. Due to insurance
restrictions, we can no longer operate the facility as "unstaffed" meaning that we must be here at all times the facility is
open.
This leaves us no time for our own personal time. In a community our size, membership numbers are limited and therefore
not enough income to hire more staff. We appreciate the support of the community over the past years and are sorry we
cannot continue for you.
MUNICIPALITY OF CENTRE HASTINGS
We are excited to reopen the Madoc Pool after two long years !
We will be operating under modified conditions this summer .
