FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – June 7th, 2021
Stirling Festival Theatre Summer Season – Theatre Everywhere
The Stirling Festival Theatre is moving outdoors for the summer of 2021. The COVID-19 pandemic has kept the theatre
closed for large parts of 2020 and 2021. When the theatre wasn’t closed, it was open with strict health and safety
restrictions. The theatre could only have a capacity of 50 people (in a 400+ seat theatre). While uncertainty still lingers
as we head into the summer, the Stirling Festival Theatre has pivoted and is moving much of its summer season
outdoors. In partnering with a variety of businesses, organizations and townships, SFT is eager to bring Theatre
Everywhere to entertain people who have been stuck at home for large parts of the last year and a half.
