NEW “TINY” WEDDING CHAPEL COMING TO MADOC VILLAGE
This June, Toronto Wedding Officiant and Life Celebrant, Tracy B Richards, took the leap to make
her dream of a fresh start in the country a reality. For years, Tracy had a vision of creating a “Tiny
Chapel” on her own country Homestead where couples could have a casual, country-style
elopement with just a few friends. Then, Covid happened and the wedding industry had the
correction it so desperately needed. As couples began to embrace the idea of smaller, simpler
weddings, Tracy’s vision began to materialize. During that time, while Tracy was visiting a friend
in Madoc regularly, she had the chance to get to know some of the great people in the area and,
eventually, Madoc started to feel like “home”. When the “ideal” property suddenly became
available, Tracy knew it was meant to be and the rest, as they say, is history.
"My work as a Wedding Officiant and Life Celebrant has
been such a blessing for me. I can’t think of any higher
honour than to be supporting, assisting and guiding other
members of my community as they move through
significant life events.
I’m looking forward to meeting more of my new neighbours around Madoc and I hope to be able to create lasting
relationships and serve my community for many years to come”
As one of Toronto’s most sought after Wedding Officiants, Tracy will still be commuting to the city every weekend this
season but is excited to be in the process of re-designing some of the existing structures on her property to function as a
Tiny Chapel. In the meantime, couples will be able to get married anywhere in the exquisite, pastoral setting of the
Homestead property starting this fall (2021) or at the location of your choice. Tracy offers both faith-based and secular
ceremonies. To get in touch with her, call 416-720-0103 or email her at tracy@xolifecelebrations.com.
