 Forest Green to the dark pink areas also. Apply very thin sideloads of Antique Green and Black Forest Green on the background around the flowers/stem and at the corners of the lid. Deepen the corners with a final sideload of Midnite Green. Tone down any Warm White around the edges with a sideload of Antique White. Add glazes of Royal Fuchsia, Cadmium Yellow, and the greens to the lid background and around the edges of the box bottom. Clean up the top edge of the base with Antique Green and Black For- est Green. Add washes of Antique Green and Black Forest Green to the edge and underside of the lid.
BOX FEET
Sponge Paint Adhesion Medium+Rich Espresso (1:1) over the entire outside area. Add a dry-brush of the mix to the edges of the lid using the Moon brush.

FINISHING
Apply two or three coats of DuraClear Satin Varnish to the box and lid.
When the metal feet are completely dry, affix them to the bottom corners of the box with glue.

       Cindy Harrison has been a member
of SDP since 1994 and a teacher of
decorative painting since 1996. She
was honored to have taught at the
2011 SDP Conference and several
other conventions across the United
States since 2009. She has served as
the SDP Volunteer Committee assistant chair, New England Traditions convention co-registration and raffle chair, as well as in many elected and appointed chapter positions, including that of president for White Mountain Decorative Painters Guild.
Cindy is excited to share her years of knowledge with anyone who is interested. In teaching, she stresses pa- tience, acceptability, self-confidence, and a strong knowl- edge of techniques. She continues to take classes and learn as many techniques as she can so that she may serve her students better.
