Brighten up your Halloween decorations with this candle plate. Use it as a candle holder or place it on an easel to be admired. Be proud of what you created and display it year after year!
PREPARATION
This candle pan comes painted and textured. It is ready to transfer on the design with white graphite. I like to use washes of colors to apply a basecoat, which allows some of the back- ground color to peek through and add interest. Use the filbert brush when applying the basecoat to round areas or areas with a rounded edge. I like to use angles for shading.
LET’S PAINT
BASECOAT
With Mustard Seed, basecoat wash the pumpkin and the outer ring of the flower. Next, basecoat wash the dress and flower inner ring with Plum. Continue with the basecoat wash with Avocado for the collar, hem and leaves. With Sand, apply the basecoat wash on the hand, pantaloons and pillow- case. Next, basecoat wash the feet and flower center with Raw Umber. Lastly, basecoat wash Antique White on the blanket.
