NATIONAL MATHEMATICS DAY
December 22 was designated as National
Mathematics Day (NMD) by Government of India in
2012. The celebrations aim at spreading
awareness about the importance of mathematics
and the contributions made by Srinivasa
Ramanujan, in the field of mathematics. On this
day, our college Department of Mathematics,
celebrated Mathematics Day and paid tributes to
Srinivasa Ramanujan. The main objective behind
the celebration is to raise awareness among people
about the importance of mathematics for the
development of humanity. We can't ignore that
several initiatives are taken to motivate, enthuse,
and inculcate a positive attitude towards learning
mathematics among the younger generation of the
country.

MICROSOFT UPSKILLING EXAMINATION
Out of 19 students attended Microsoft Upskilling
Examination on Azure Data Fundamentals, 11
students cleared the examination and received their
certificates on 29 December 2022 which is held at
Seshsdri Rao Engineering College, Gudlavalleru.
Computer Science faculty Smt. Swarna Jyothi,
Smt.Rafiah and JKC Mentor Sri. D. Suresh technically
assisted the students.

INTER-COLLEIGATE BALL BADMINTON MEN TOURNAMENT
As per the Krishna University Sports
Calendar 2022-2023, the Krishna university
Inter- Collegiate Ball Badminton Men
Tournament cum University team selection
was organised by our college from 30-12-
2022 to 31-12-2022. The programme was
inaugurated by Dr. R. Kiran kumar, Secretary
Sports Board, Krishna University. In this
tournament, two of our players, L.N.V.D.
Kiran, III BA and P.U.S. Raju, III BA are
provisionally selected to represent Krishna
University Ball Badminton Men team for the
year 2022-2023. They will participate in the
All India Inter University Tournament at
Manglore University, Karnataka from 13
January 2023 to 17 January 2023.
