DÉESSE BRA FIT GUIDE
HOW TO
FIT A BRA
Bra fitting is an intimate experience.
Ask when she was last fit and then explain the process.
1 Step 1 BAND SIZE
To find your band size, pull the measuring tape snuggly around the rib cage,
under the bust. The measurement in inches is your band size. If you are an
odd number, round up or down, depending on your fit preference.
Example: If you measure 42” = Band size 42
If you measure 43” = Band size 44
Step 2 CUP SIZE
Measure around the fullest part of your bust, again the measuring tape
should be snug.
2 Step 3 SIZING
Subtract the band number from the cup size number; the difference
determines the cup size. For example if your band measurement is forty
inches and your bust measurement is forty five inches, forty five bust minus
forty band equals five which corresponds to DD.
BUST LINE TO FRAME MEASUREMENT
Compare bust line measurement to frame measurement

Step 3a CROSS SIZING
It’s also important to understand cross sizing.
The equivalent of any size can be found by going up one band size and by
going down one cup size or by going down one band size and going up one
cup size.
BRA SIZE GRID
Try cross sizing: go up a band size & down a cup size or up a cup size and down a band size.
