Staying Safe…together

COVID-19 threatens all members of society;

persons with disabilities face unique and

heightened challenges and vulnerabilities in a

time of pandemic, including being at a greater

risk of more serious illness if infected by

coronavirus.

Reasons for this include chronic conditions or a

weakened immune system and barriers in

accessing services and information.

Awareness of these risks leads to better response

that can allay the disproportionate impact

experienced by persons with disabilities.
